Sharpening saw chain has never been easier. With the patented hydraulic servo control system, the chain is automatically locked in place when you lower the grinding head. This automatic feature provides 50% reduction in sharpening time over normal manual type clamping sharpeners. To operate, simply position the tooth to be ground against the adjustable tooth stop positioning finger, set the vise to the proper angle, pull the grinding head down and the chain is securely clamped in place. When you raise the grinding head the vise opens allowing you to position the next tooth to be ground against the tooth stop.
The Speed Sharp is also fitted with an eccentric vise control that perfectly adjusts the vise opening for .050, .058, and.063 drive length thickness. This insures uniform grinding for both the left and right hand cutters. The Speed Sharp is capable of sharpening all makes of chain from 1/4" pitch to 3/4" pitch, with drive length thickness up to .063".
You will receive the necessary equipment to put your Speed Sharp to work the minute it arrives. Included, you will have a complete training video, dressing stick, pitch and gauge measuring gauge, 5-3/4" x 7/8" x 3/16" wheel, 5-3/4" x 7/8" x 1/8" wheel, 5-3/4" x 7/8" x 1/4" wheel, set up instructions and a parts break down list. This machine weighs 22 lbs. and is 16" high, 12" wide and 5-1/2" wide. The grinding motor is a single direction, 1/4 H.P., 120-volt, 3 amp, 200 watt, 3450 R.P.M. This easy to use, reliable and versatile sharpener is perfect for the home handyman or landscaper needing a easy, inexpensive way to maintain their trimmers and saw chain.
The F210 is designed to operate on any 12 Volt car battery, so you can sharpen on site, without need of electricity. Complete step-by step instructions are included to explain the sharpening procedure for hedge trimmers and saw chain. The Dual Sharp is designed for both small electric trimmers with blades approximately .074" (1.8mm) thick and larger gas trimmers with blades approximately .100" (2.6mm) thick. These blades will have a shear angle of 10 or 15 degrees. It is not designed to sharpen the trimmers that have half round blades. Saw chain from 1/4" pitch to .404" pitch are easily sharpened to the correct angle and length. The F210 is supplied with a 3/16" and 5/16" stone. Both cutters and the depth gauges can be sharpened to spec with the aid of the E-Z Gage grinding gauge that is supplied with the unit.
